Start with five operational signals
1. Active trips
See every trip currently in progress, the assigned driver and vehicle, expected completion time and any delay that requires intervention.
2. Available vehicles
Capacity depends on more than the number of vehicles in the fleet. A useful availability count excludes vehicles under maintenance, blocked by documents or already committed to upcoming work.
3. Online drivers
Compare scheduled drivers with those actually online. This immediately reveals whether the operation has enough active drivers for current and upcoming demand.
4. Unresolved alerts
Late arrivals, route exceptions, missing entries and operational issues should be grouped into one queue with a clear owner and deadline.
5. Documents due
Upcoming driver and vehicle document expiries can interrupt tomorrow's operation. Bringing them into the morning view makes compliance part of daily control.
